San Marino

Newly completed, San Marino has had a winter under cover whilst a new roofing system was installed, transforming the upstairs from small difficult  to use spaces to four large spacious double bedrooms plus two bathrooms and built in storage.  There has also been a huge attic added to the property, which although is currently unused, leaves potential for further extension to a third storey.

Client Brief

The client needed the living accommodation upstairs to be larger and issues with the roof fixing.  The whole house needed sprucing up with a lick of paint and updating with new doors and bits and pieces.

Sprouts Role

Martin worked with the client to design an upstairs that met requirements and allowed for future extension upwards without major building works.  Sprout Construction completed all the requried works, through the Cornish winter.

Room To Grow

The raising of the roof not only gives ample space upstairs with spacious landing, viewing gallery and four large bedrooms but also allows the house to grow upwards with this huge attic space which could potentially give the house another four bedrooms!

Sprout constructed a scaffolding tent around and over this project to that work on the roof could be completed during the winter months.  Just as well with all the interesting weather we had including gales and snow!  Here's under cover footage of what when on.
